Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs use of the Victory Home Services platform. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
Prohibited Activities
Fraudulent or Deceptive Conduct
- Creating fake profiles, reviews, or service listings.
- Misrepresenting your identity, qualifications, licenses, or insurance status.
- Manipulating ratings or reviews through artificial means.
- Booking services with no intent to pay or complete the booking.
Platform Circumvention
- Soliciting Customers or Vendors met through Victory to transact outside the Platform to avoid fees.
- Sharing contact information in listings or profiles for the purpose of off-platform transactions.
- Creating multiple accounts to evade suspension or bans.
Harassment and Discrimination
- Harassing, threatening, or intimidating other users.
- Discriminating against users on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability, familial status, or any other protected class.
- Using offensive, abusive, or sexually explicit language in platform communications.
Illegal Activities
- Using the Platform for any purpose that violates applicable local, state, or federal law.
- Performing services without required licenses, permits, or insurance.
- Money laundering, tax evasion, or financial fraud.
- Providing services to minors without appropriate authorization.
Technical Misuse
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
- Using automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or collect data from the Platform.
- Uploading malicious code, viruses, or other harmful software.
- Interfering with the availability or performance of the Platform.
Vendor-Specific Requirements
- Maintain all licenses and permits required by your state and municipality for services offered.
- Carry and maintain general liability insurance coverage appropriate to your service category.
- Complete jobs as described and agreed upon in the booking.
- Communicate promptly with Customers regarding scheduling changes or issues.
- Accurately represent your services, pricing, and availability.
- Comply with all IRS reporting requirements as an independent contractor.
Content Standards
All content you post on the Platform must:
- Be accurate and not misleading.
- Not infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
- Not include personal information of third parties without consent.
- Be in English or clearly understandable by the intended audience.
Enforcement
Victory reserves the right to:
- Remove content that violates this AUP without notice.
- Suspend or terminate accounts found in violation.
- Report illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
- Withhold pending payouts during investigation of policy violations.
- Pursue legal action for damages caused by AUP violations.
