Contractor Terms
Effective Date: October 10, 2026
These terms apply to independent pros (“Contractors”) who list services and take jobs through the Victory platform. They work together with our Terms of Service.
1. Independent contractor status
You are an independent contractor — not an employee, agent, or partner of Victory Home Services, LLC (“Victory”). Nothing here creates an employment or agency relationship. You set your own schedule, use your own tools, and are responsible for your own taxes. Your workers, if any, are your employees — never paid through Victory.
2. Verification
Before taking jobs you must pass a background check (Victory absorbs the cost), hold required trade licenses, and carry at least $1,000,000 in liability insurance — re-verified every 30 days. Tax documentation (1099 or EIN/LLC) must be on file.
3. How you get paid
Customers pay Victory up front; funds are held in escrow. You're paid after the job is done — after a 48-hour issue window, or following a three-party visual sign-off (customer, you, and Victory) for larger jobs. Payouts go to your connected Stripe account; Victory never sees your bank details.
4. Platform fee
Victory charges a platform fee of up to 20% per job, sliding down with job size (20% / 15% / 10% / 7.5%). The fee is non-refundable. There are no lead fees and no upfront costs to list — Victory only makes money when you make money.
5. Your content and conduct
Keep contact info (phone numbers, URLs, emails) off your posted content so transactions stay on the platform. Do the work you promised, show up on time, and communicate — your rating is your reputation here.
